Creating a garden that makes life better for our residents
We’re transforming the Jersey Cheshire Home garden into a space that’s welcoming, inclusive and truly life-enhancing for the people who live here.
Phase one of the redevelopment is now underway and will run for 12 weeks, with completion expected by the end of August.
Thanks to generous support from our Summer Ball and previous fundraising treks, we’ve been able to kick-start this important work, but we need your help to complete it.
We’re aiming to raise £7,500 to go towards:
- 3 sets of garden tables, sofas and chairs with parasols – so residents and their families can relax and enjoy time together.
- A pergola with lighting and heating – making the space usable in all seasons and in the evenings.
- Accessible planters and storage – encouraging residents to enjoy outdoor activities.
For our residents, many of whom have complex physical needs, having access to a safe and thoughtfully designed outdoor space will significantly improve wellbeing.
Please donate today. Your support will make a real difference.
By supporting this appeal, you’ll help create a space where residents can feel at ease, enjoy meaningful time with family, and take part in the simple pleasures of outdoor life.
