3rd December 2024
RED
Show your solidarity and commitment to disability inclusion by wearing red. Encourage friends, family and colleagues to join you.
Complete a small activity related to disability awareness, like navigating a task with one hand or doing an obstacle course blindfolded. Share your video on social media with the hashtag #RedForAbility, tag @JerseyCheshireHome, and challenge others to do the same!
Consider making a donation to JCH or partnering as a local business by donating a portion of sales or lighting up your premises in red on 3rd December. Every contribution goes directly to support our services.
Every donation, every red t- shirt and every social media post helps up to promote inclusivity, support independence and empower people to overcome challenges.
Join us in celebrating ‘Supporting Ability, Shaping Inclusion’ and creating a lasting impact.
Together, we can make a difference on 3rd December and beyond.
The #RedForAbility challenge is a fun and meaningful way to promote disability awareness and inclusion during December 2024.
By completing a simple task with a simulated disability, you can experience some of the challenges that individuals with disabilities face daily.
Follow the instructions below to join the challenge, show your support, and raise awareness!
“Today, I’m joining @JerseyCheshireHome’s #RedForAbility challenge to raise awareness – Supporting Ability, Shaping Inclusion. I attempted to tie my shoes with one hand, a task that highlights the daily obstacles faced by many people with disabilities. By wearing red and sharing this video, I hope to help build a more inclusive community. I challenge [tag 3 friends] to join me! Let’s spread awareness and support Jersey Cheshire Home’s amazing work.”
By participating in the #RedForAbility challenge, you’re helping to create a more inclusive world.
Every post shared, donation made and conversation started builds awareness and supports Jersey Cheshire Home’s work with islanders with disabilities.
