Stepping into Spring
20th March to 21st June 2023
What is this?
This is an inclusive event for everyone to enjoy. Our aim is to get people active whilst raising money for Jersey Cheshire Home, supporting our islanders with disabilities.
We are asking participants to cover a distance of 40 miles in our 40thyear, however they choose. Feel free to walk, wheel, row, run, cycle or swim – basically anything that gets you moving and active.
Entry costs just £40.00 (which goes directly to Jersey Cheshire Home), plus a small administration fee. This is payable when you register. You also have the option raise additional funds to support the home via sponsorship. If you can get people to sponsor you £1 per mile, that’s an extra £40 per sponsor, which all goes to support islanders like you and me, who are living with disabilities.
When is it happening?
The Challenge will run throughout the Spring period, starting on the 20thMarch through to the 21stJune. You can register at any point between these dates; just give yourself enough time to achieve the distance.

Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Race Nation which also contains information on how to log your daily or weekly distance. There is also a very useful link to some local walks which you may enjoy.
All participants who complete the challenge will receive a medal.
Can I support you without taking part?
Of course. We understand that not everyone will have the time or inclination to take part. Even if you’re not taking part in Stepping into Spring, you can still do your part for a good cause by making a donation via our website or via the Race Nation website link.
