Jersey Cheshire Home appoints Tony Goodwin as Deputy Manager

Jersey Cheshire Home, the island’s only residential facility dedicated to supporting adults with disabilities, has appointed Tony Goodwin as its new Deputy Manager.

Tony brings over 25 years of experience in nursing and healthcare leadership, with expertise in mental health and dementia care. His extensive background in team management and person-centred care aligns perfectly with Jersey Cheshire Home’s mission to enhance the lives of islanders with disabilities.

In his new role, Tony will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the Home, ensuring the highest standards of care for residents. His responsibilities will include mentoring staff, overseeing clinical excellence and maintaining regulatory compliance. He will also focus on quality assurance, helping to drive continuous improvements.
