Pallot Glass to sponsor residents table at Jersey Cheshire Home’s Ruby Ball
They may not make glass slippers, but one local business is ensuring residents can go to the Jersey Cheshire Home Ruby Anniversary Ball next month.
Pallot Glass have sponsored a table for 10 at the black-tie event at the Royal Yacht Hotel on Saturday 15th July and the residents can’t wait to dress up and celebrate the Home’s 40th birthday in style.
They’ll join over two hundred other guests at the Ruby Ball and enjoy a three-course dinner and music by Take This.
Chris Abel, CEO of Pallot Glass said, “We’re delighted to be sponsoring a table at this event and supporting this fabulous local charity as they celebrate their big birthday. We hope the residents have a wonderful time and a night to remember!”
Stanley Baudains a resident at the Home said, “It’s very kind of Pallot Glass to sponsor a table for us at the Ruby Ball, I for one have my tux ready and am looking forward to a great night out.”
Michelle Picot, Fundraising Manager at Jersey Cheshire Home said, “We are excited to be celebrating this milestone and are thrilled to be hosting what is guaranteed to be a wonderful evening where islanders can join us to party the night away whilst helping raise funds to ensure we can continue supporting islanders with disabilities for another 40 years! Having our residents there to celebrate is the icing on the cake and we’re very grateful to Pallot Glass for their very generous support.”
A stunning ruby, generously sponsored by Catherine Best will be auctioned during the evening as well as a signed Manchester United 2022/2023 team shirt in memory of a resident along with a painting created by one of the residents who is an artist.
Jersey Cheshire Home is the only residential facility on the island caring solely for adults with disabilities. It costs just over £3 million per year to run, just over £8,300 a day.
